Drafts are often created to work on future articles before they are ready to be published or otherwise might not yet meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines. This also categorizes the page to Category:Draft articles or one of its sub-categories.

Do not use this template in mainspace, as it will not display. For article being developed in mainspace, consider {{Under construction}} instead.

Categorization

The |{{SAFESUBST:#if:subject|subject=}} parameter categorizes the article into a sub-category of Category:Draft articles as shown below. Note that if the message box is not desired and only the category is necessary, use |{{SAFESUBST:#if:catonly|catonly=}}yes.
